PADI Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

If you’ve tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving experience or resort course, the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Diver course certification.

To enroll in the PADI Open Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years or older.

They’re what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.  The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water.  This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your PADI instructor.  This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and new ways to have fun scuba diving.diving dahab

PADI Rescue Diver

PADI Divemaster

Looking for the first step in working with scuba as a career? Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying diving dahabyou to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.

What You Learn

During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba. You put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.

PADI Specialty Diver
 

You get more experience and more knowledge in the area of the chosen specialty dives.

Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or similar certification). Minimum of 20 logged dives.

Including: Depending on chosen subject: theory and practice.

  • Altitude Diver: diving on heights between 300 and 3000 meter above sealevel.
  • Boat Diver: diving from boats.
  • Cavern Diver: diving in caves, within reach of daylight. Don't confuse with Cave Diving.
  • Deep Diver: diving till max. 40 meter.
  • (Digital) Underwater Photography (niveau 1 and 2): learn to take pictures under water.
  • Diver Propulsion Vehicle: diving with a DPV.
  • Drift Diver: diving in currents.
  • Dry Suit Diver: diving with a dry-suit.
  • Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox): diving with enriched air.
  • Equipment Specialist: learn how to repair your dive equipment.
  • Ice Diver: diving under the ice.
  • Multilevel Diver: diving in different levels during 1 dive.
  • Night Diver: diving in the dark.
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy: control that buoyancy.
  • Search & Recovery: Search and Recovery techniques.
  • Semi-Closed Rebreather: diving with rebreathers.
  • Underwater Naturalist: development of safe interaction with the underwater life.
  • Underwater Navigator: navigation under water.
  • Underwater Videographer: making videos under water.
  • Wreck Diver: diving on wrecks.
